I loved watching, although from a distance and filtered lense, his athleticism and adventurous spirit. I loved watching him being a loyal life partner as a young adult and being a father. I had blinders with Triston and I could only see his best qualities. I loved his inquisitiveness and ingenuity. I loved seeing his mischievous look as much as his expressions of wonder. What brings a smile to my face is picturing his smile and hearing his laugh. I have many cherished memories of sweet Triston. Ken and Kenny, I am so very, very sorry for your loss. I miss her so much and she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her as she was such a special and caring soul. We had some very special visits this summer while she was fighting her battle, which I will cherish always. Dawn absolutely LOVED being a Grandma to Brooklyn & Paige. I will miss being outside and hearing her call my name, to find her in the bedroom window holding her Granddaughter Brooklyn and Brooklyn waving and saying "Hi Sue!", which Dawn said she always had to do when she visited. I will miss her walking over cradling a baby bird in her hands that she found in her front yard, more than once, asking what I thought she should do with it to try to keep it safe from predators. Dawn and I shared our love of nature and all of the animals that came to visit. I am going to so miss our backyard visits we had from time to time. I first met her when I was on Fontana Rescue & Ken was on Fontana Fire back in the early 90's, but I didn't to really get to know her until they purchased their home next door to us. May God Bless Him.ĭawn was such a loving and caring woman. He said, "Well how do we get down there from here?" "Bill and I said, "Like this" and proceeded to sit down in a couple feet of deep snow and toboggan down like riding a luge in the olympics." Roy did not hesitate but came rocketing down himself with an avalanche of snow covering him at the bottom of the hill and we all had a good laugh. ![]() ![]() Roy came to my home in the hill country near Oakdale, Wisconsin to hunt a little over 30 years ago and after following myself and his son Bill (we of course were much younger) up and down various steep hills in deep snow we came to a steep ravine that descended back down to my house. I would hear stories of his (and Char's) fishing and all of us were delighted with Char's rap song about him "The Average Fisherman". To hear him marvel over the acquisition of a chunk of cherry wood with a burl in it which he could turn into a beautiful piece of woodwork showed his appreciation for God's creation, an appreciation he passed down to not only his sons but to their sons. Roy is my sister's father in law and our family has been blessed to have some of his woodwork in our home. Thank you Jo Ann with LOVE from the entire Giovannetti Family, Jan, Jim, Kim, Vince Charlie & Carolyn To the entire Hobbs Family, may God's peace and loveassist you all to know that Jo Ann is indeed in a better place and you will all be comforted. She was a terrific wife, mother and person in ALL aspects of her life and I will never forget her words of wisdom she passed on to Jan and me when we were struggling with a very personal issue at home. I do not say this in a boasting way but to recognize the reinforcement that kids got at home and in some of their classrooms. Her recitals were deadlines that taught self discipline and mental toughness! Her lessons were life skills applicable to all phases of our children's lives and I am proud to say they are all extremely successful. She taught so much more than music! She taught preparation, practice, mental preparedness and appreciation. I never considered her a piano teacher but as more of a Piano Coach. ![]() She was extremely invested in the development of our children's lives. I intend to remove the following companies from the Register under section 318(1)(b) of the Companies Act 1993, on the grounds that the Registrar has reasonable grounds to believe that the company is not carrying on business and there is no proper reason for the company to continue in existence. To the entire Hobbs Clan, we were all devastated by the news of Jo Ann's passing.
